Tball Time!

Stephen had his first Tball game on Saturday and I am happy to report it was a lot of fun. He's got a great group of boys on his team and I know they will have lots of fun this season! Of course I took LOTS of pictures, but I will spare you and post just a few :)

I love seeing their names on the back of the jersey!

The coach gave Stephen the game ball....to say he was excited about this is an understatement!!

Healthy Chocolate!!!

Several months ago, a friend introduced me to a very young company, Xocai, and I immediately fell in love with their products.....HEALTHY CHOCOLATE!!! After much consideration, we jumped in to the opportunity to be the first Independent Distributors of this product, in Birmingham. We've been amazed at the response and interest from everyone here in town! Because this blog is my place to share experiences and show off my family, I have created a new blog to highlight this wonderful product. I will be updating it frequently with information and new about all of our products. I hope you will check it out at www.goodhealthgoodchocolate.blogspot.com! Let me know what you think and if you would like to try some!

Grandpals Day

Stephen's school hosts an annual "Grandpals Day". It's really a sweet thing, they invite their grandparents (or aunts/uncles/cousins/family friends, etc. if your grandparents can't make it) to come to the school in the morning and see a short program, have breakfast with them in the cafeteria and then see their classrooms. I got to be on the committee this year, so I was able to take pictures of this sweet event. It was so much fun to see all the grandparents, aunts, uncles, family friends, etc. have such a great time with the kids.

Spring Break 2011

We had the most wonderful Spring Break this year at the beach. The weather was so wonderful....who would have expected the temps would be in the 70's with just a gentle wind....in MARCH!!! It was fabulous. We played outside ALL day, each day and had the most fun we could have had. I actually was sad to see my kids go back to school at the end of the week, it was fun playing and having a good time with them. We also got to bring our Nana with us. She was excited about the trip and actually enjoyed spending the days on the beach with us too! All in all, it was a great Spring Break!

Nana with the kiddos! Loving the beach!

And he wonders how his feet got burned!!!! Damn 'Angry Birds'!!!

Where's Langston!!???

Lovin' on Nana!

Ask Carson, "Who's your best friend?" and she will answer, "My Nana"! It's the sweetest thing to hear considering my Nana is MY grandmother and HER greatgrandmother. They get to spend a lot of time together and have so much fun, it's so neat to get to see that!

Wow! How Time Flies!!

Wow! How time flies! It seems it has been WAY too long since my last post, nearly 2 months! Hard to believe, but we have been busy with life and new business opportunities. It's been wild! We have had a great March and have loved the weather...until today!! It's hard to go from beautiful skies, reasonably high temps to massive rains and now cold....again!!! Spring, where are you!!!

I've enjoyed getting outside again with the kids and having fun at the park and riding bikes, etc. It's been fun. Stephen started Tball and had his first game this past Saturday. The White Sox played great and all the boys had a blast. Stephen was the lucky recipient of the game ball. To say he was excited about it is an understatement!! He's taken that ball EVERYWHERE, to show EVERYONE! I am so glad he is having fun!

The girls are doing great and just enjoying life. It's been kind of a low key spring for them, as many of their activities have come to an and we just haven't renewed them yet, but I am enjoying getting to spend more time with them at the park and doing other fun things with them. I keep thinking I want to sign them up for this and that, but I have come to realize that I only have 1 more year with Langston before she goes to "Big School" and Carson will follow her the next year, so I want to soak it up....most days (wink wink!!)!

I've also been working on a fun business adventure that I have fallen in love with, and falls in to one of my favorite categories....health and nutrition! I will post more on it very soon. Right now I want to show off my most favorites....my kiddos! Enjoy the posts to come!!
