3 Months Old

Well, I have already told you it is hard to believe that my sweet little boy is 4 years old! I am now going to tell you that it is equally hard for me to believe that my baby, Carson, is 3 months old today!!! Wow, time is really flying. Carson is so sweet and such a wonderful baby. She has been so happy and just loves flashing that sweet little smile of hers. She's been cooing quite a bit lately and is working on rolling over. She is so close! Just gets stuck on her side. I know she'll get it soon. She discovered her thumb a week or so ago and it's so funny to hear her sucking on it. She loves to watch her brother and her sister, especially if they are really excited and playing. She also gets mesmerized by the TV! It's so funny to watch her eyes when the kids get to watch a movie or cartoon, her head just turns towards the TV and gets sucked right in to the colors.

Happy Birthday Stephen!

My last night as a 3 year old!

It's hard to believe, but my baby is growing up! On Monday, August 25th, Stephen turned 4!

I can't believe that four years have gone by. It seems like just yesterday I was very anxiously awaiting his arrival. I have so many special memories of this sweet little boy over the last 4 years and they all just make me smile.

Stephen was so excited about this birthday and has been talking for weeks about it. It's been fun this year because he is really into it and really understands what's going on or what happens on your birthday.....lots of sweets and lots of presents!! He enjoyed a fun day, especially making his own birthday cake with Aunt Molly. They did a great job, it was so cute and of course was yummy! When I get the pictures they took of their baking adventure, I will post them for you. One of my personal favorites from today was hearing his younger sister sing "Happy Birthday" to him in the car. She was so cute and was so proud that she was singing something that we could all understand. Stephen loved it. When she would finish, he kept saying, "sing it again sissy! It's Happy Birthday to ME!". It was a priceless moment.

This was one gift he just had to take to bed. When I went upstairs to move it after he had gone to sleep, this is what I found! I thought it was too cute, he just loves this pirate ship:)

Nearly 2....and already terrible??!!

Well, as you can imagine from the title, we are enjoying our terrible 2's. From the pictures I have posted, you can see that Langston is certainly having fun with it!

Langston has been showing signs that she is ready to start potty training...like telling us when she has a dirty or wet diaper. So we decided that we would get her a potty of her own....I think we're making some progress, don't you??

Unfortunately, yes, this did get stuck around our neck! I guess it's really not meant to be a necklace too!

We've also been working on using our utensils when we eat. Normally it's not a problem, she does pretty well. However, there is an occasional flying spoon....or fork, and this is what we look like after dinner:)

While she can be quite the little you know what at times, she is also very much the little sweetheart too.

Stephen and baby Carson are doing well too....they've just stayed out of trouble a little more often than number 2! Stephen recently spent the night with his cousins, Austin & Mallory, and had a blast. He is still talking about it and requesting to go back. They stayed up late playing with toys and watching movies. Carson is quite the little angel. She eats well and has been sleeping great. Hard to believe that she is almost 11 weeks old. We're at the beach right now and everyone is having agrat time. We actually brought Carson down to the beach during the day. She loved it so much that she slept through the whole experience!
