We attempted snow angels, but they are just about impossible when you try them on icy snow. Poor child, she kept trying and kept saying "not working momma, not working!"

Heading up the hill for some real sledding.....gotta love how Carson travels!

Yumm...streetsicles! I wasn't aware that she had pulled up a section of the icy road and was snacking on it. By the time I saw her, she'd been enjoying it for quite a while. Oh well, at least it wasn't yellow!

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year to All! We celebrated the arrival of a new decade at the lake and had the most wonderful time. It was so peaceful and rejuvinating for all of us. We enjoyed exploring in the woods at the farm, watching the Tide ROLL OVER Michigan State and some good quality time. I hope you all had a wonderful celebration as well!

Busted! Okay, we also spent some time being couch potatoes. Langston and Stephen hijacked my iPad and were thrilled to find some new movies for them!
