Day 3: Epcot

It started off as a super wet morning, it was actually almost monsoonlike! Luckily though, around noon, the rain cleared out and we actually saw a glimpse of the sun for the first time in days! By mid afternoon, it was a really nice day. We spent most of the morning trying to dodge the rain by riding some of the rides and doing some of the interactive things they have at Epcot. We at lunch at the Akershus Royal Banquet Hall in Norway, a total princess experience. It was much like the breakfast we had in Cinderell'a castle yesterday, but according to Langston, you can't get enough princess! We spent the afternoon walking around the World Showcase checking out the different countries. We found this to be a great place to find many of our favorite characters. Here are a few pictures from the day....

Meeting Mickey

Langston was so excited to meet Minnie, she says she is great!

Outside the Finding Nemo ride

Belle was the royal attraction at our princess lunch. Langston was so excited and compared dresses when she walked in. She was mesmerized by all the princess' dresses. I had a hard time getting her to look at the camera instead of their dresses!

Cinderella

Ariel

One of our favorites....Mulan. We were excited we got to see her, apparently she is one of the harder to find princesses. Langston spotted her and was so excited. She talked about her all afternoon.

Suzy, one of the mice from Cinderella

Langston played a game of hide & seek with Marie from Aristocats. She was really playful and funny, the kids enjoyed meeting her.

Jasmine & Aladdin

The Beast took Langston by the hand and twirled her around and danced with her for a minute. She thought she was hot stuff after that!

Before we left the park, Langston wanted to go back to see if Mulan was still there. Lucky for us, she was. She was about to leave for the night and we got to talk to her for a little bit. She showed Stephen the proper technique to hold a sword and let Langston walk her to her home.
