We miss you Carsey!
Day 1: We got in to town early enough on saturday that we were able to spend a few hours in the Magic Kingdom, but our first full day (Sunday) was spent in Hollywood Studios. It was a lot of fun, pretty cold, but a lot of fun. We had a good breakfast at Hollywood & Vine with the Playhouse Disney characters.
June from Little Einsteins
We met Mickey and gave him big hugs!
Our favorites, Woody & Buzz!
Day 2: It was a super wet day, as it rained pretty much ALL day! We had breakfast in Cinderella's castle with all of our favorite princesses. It was a lot of fun....not sure if the kids ate anything, they were so excited about seeing everyone!
Snow White
Jasmine
Aurora from Sleeping Beauty
Belle
Fairy Godmother. Langston was so cute when she met her, she proceeded to tell her the entire story of what Fairy Godmother did for Cinderella! Cinderella's evil stepmother and stepsisters. They were hysterical and totally fit the part! They kept asking Langston who would ever make her wear an outfit like that. She told them Fairy Godmother made it with her wand and they would smirk and say, figures it would be that silly fairy! Anastasia even took Langston's bow out and moved it to the top of her forehead like their bows. They were pretty funny.
Prisoners with Zurge right outside of the Buzz Lightyear ride
We watched the spectromagic parade this evening and it was really impressive. Langston got so excited when Cinderella pointed to her and said she loved her dress & blew her a kiss! (she was still in her cinderella princess costume)
Stephen's favorite of the parade, good 'ole Captain Hook. We still have not met him in person yet, but we have high hopes we will before the week it out!
We did stick around for the fireworks show they have nightly at closing. It was still raining, but they do it rain or shine. We were disappointed because we didn't get to see Tinkerbell fly out of the castle, but hopefully we will see it before we leave. (She really does fly out of the castle by the way! They have a zip line that runs from the top of the castle, yes you read that correctly, and she apparently flies down over the crowd and lands somewhere off in the distance!)
Tomorrow we are off to Epcot!
